steering wheel vibrations

i just replaced my pads and rotors about 500 miles ago. I broke them in per manufactures directions, and used a torque wrench. At the time, I also installed poly motor mounts. During normal breaking, there is no vibration. But on the free way, breaking from 70-50 i need to hold the wheel with both hands becuase of the vibrations. Could this be from the motor mounts? or maybe I need an alignment? ANd at worst, do you think it could be the rotors? Can someone point me in the correct direction to find out what could be wrong.

Sounds like the rotors are warped.

my steering wheel just did that this morning and i just put wider tires on my car so i i think that is it.

I agree, my car did that when I had warped rotors, only at high speeds. Kept warping rotors until I realized that one of my caliper slides was frozen solid, causing the rotors to warp.
