Custom panhard bar?
Before I go any further, let me say that I have a truck - a Chevy Avalanche to be exact. But I thought maybe you guys might be better able to direct me to a place that can help, since most truck guys have leafs in the back, but I have coils from the factory.
I want an aftermarket diff cover put on, but they are all thicker than stock, and my panhard is only 1/2" from the stock diff cover. So basically what I need is an aftermarket panhard bar made that bends around the diff just like a sway bar might.
Anyone know of a place that does this kind of fab work?

yeah... panhard bars undergo push/pull forces and should be straight. (think of 30 floor tower with the middle 10 floors shifted halfway over... wouldn't be a very stable tower) if you had to have something fabricated, try to make sense this drawing
v (diff) v this way instead of this way.. v (diff) v
l____________l ----\___/----
(the v's are the mounting locations)
That way it will give you clearance and you wont have a bent section in the middle of the panhard bar. you can 'bend' out the ends and gusset them and so forth and have a plenty strong piece
