Default Subframe install ?'s

Since i don't have 4 jack stands and I really don't trust ramps, I was thinking of just installing them with the car on the ground. It's gonna be tight but I think I can manage it would this work anyone ever done it. These are bolt on's if that makes a differance. I figure i can jack the car up to get the LCA bolt out then but that end of the subframe on and reinstall the LCA bolt loose and then lower the car back down and mark for the holes in the front. This should work properly right?

Thanks
Jon

If you think you can do it on the ground give it a shot. It would work. If you've got 4 ramps that would probably be better/easier. The suspension would still be loaded as though the car was still on the ground which is what you're after. On BMR's website they've got a write up on how to do the weld in SFC install without a lift. If memory serves it goes like this...

1- Put the front tires on ramps.
2- The rear of the car is on jackstands
3- Use a floor jack to lift the rearend itself until the LCAs are about parallel to the ground.
4- Install SFCs

Check it out to make sure I didn't miss anything.
