Default E-Brake skips.......

Yeah, you heard right.... I'll go to yank on it and it goes all the way up after a couple clicks. Goes up w/ no resistance. If I lower it back down and try again, It catches.

How do I adjust it anyway?? Where should it be w/ new pads?? 2 inches up??

That's normal. That's the auto-adjuster that GM built into the e-brake.

The "normal" disc brake pads have nothing to do with the e-brake, it is a separate little drum brake inside the rotor.

Thats normal. happens to me every once in awhile. I need to replace my pads for my ebrake though........ too much trouble.

Um... why do you need to change the ebrake pads?! They shouldn't show that much wear... ya know?
