I assume you mean you removed the bumpstop spacer (good) and not the coil-spring isolator on top of the spring (bad for those springs). You have extra weight in the car because of you speakers and I assume the box they are mounted in. The Pro-kits aren't the stiffest springs to start with, and I do not recommend them when I know the car will have extra weight in the rear of the car. You might opt for different springs not because the ones you have are inherently bad, but because they don't match well with the look you want and extra weight you have stuffed back there.

But, it seems you still have the stock square shaped SS bumpstops as well, which are like hitting a wall. Changing to the Z28 stops won't change the height of the car, but I think you'll find the ride better since they are tapered and much more progressive in nature.

By in large there are 3 instances when folks really dislike the LS1 Pro-kit. Those are with poor shocks (which you seem to have under control), when the car is a SS or WS6 because of the poorly designed bumpstops, and when there is more weight in the back of the car. You have 2 of the 3 still. In the end you still might not like them because of the height, but that's also partially due to the speakers and the box.

I'd recommend Hotchkis. About the same rates, wound a little differently for some extra support, and taller giving you more travel as well.

But I'd still say dump the SS stops for Z28 stops. Make sure you aren't running 35 psi or something in the rear tires (that'll kill the ride) before you buy other springs.
