Default best line lock kit?

tci, b&m, hurt roll control, or the very pricey slp line lock?

To answer your question honestly, from working with many designs (hurst, biondo, etc), the solenoids themselves ALL function equally well, I have yet felt one bit of a difference between one over the other...all our kits have rebuildable solenoids.

The differences between kit manufactures lie in the features and benifits of each. Our three designs (which we've been manufacture for years) retain additional benifits over other manufactures.

To be honest, our B-001 kits are the best bang for the buck. It retains the same benifits of a master arm switch, control switch as well as an LED indicator...the only difference between any three of our designs essentially is the solenoid itself....the cost of the solenoid is why there is a price difference between any of our kits. Our kit is far superior to a bare-bones SLP kit.

The way our kits works: when you want to use the line lock, switch the master circuit on, the LED will illuminate. This keeps you informed that the system is armed and can be activated with the touch of the control button. Now the line lock is ready for operation at will. When you’re ready to stage, heat up your tires, the line lock solenoid can be activated by depressing the momentary button. When you’re done using the line lock, switch the master circuit off so the line lock is permanently deactivated. Accidental deployment cannot occur. These features and benifits are included in all our three designs.

The sole reason why we have three designs is for the folks whom "have to have" one style solenoid over the other.

I've got an SLP, no complaint's about the price and like someone said you get the prebent lines so all you have to do is install. I've bought Hurst before and by the time you buy the kit and then brake lines it comes out to the same $ and you have to bend the lines yourself. IMO this is actually one of the only products SLP sells that's not overpriced.

Dave, you shave you considered out kits. All our designs are always in stock and ship within 24 hours of purchase (M-F UPS delivery)...tracking information is always provided.

For the guys using an SLP kit, I'd highly suggest purchasing and adding an additional master switch and LED circuit so you can't inadvertently switch the line lock on while cleaning your car, or someone else playing while you’re driving...especially since it is an on/off switch and not momentary. The solenoids should never be used for periods greater then 60 seconds as you risk burning the unit up…if it doesn’t burn up, you’ll never know it is turned on until you step on the brakes and they lock on you and you can’t turn them off. Our kits include added safety features that we feel are very important for our customers.

Once again, there really isn't a "best" kit...they all will function equally well. Look at the features that each kit retains and compare.

I made a plate and mounted mine in the ashtray, part of the reason was to avoid just that.
