Default Quick Help Needed!!! Should I replace?

In the middle of a spring and shock install, found the upper A-arms and upper shock mounts to be a little rusted(shock nut was almost completely gone), should I replace them?

Good choice to replace them. By the looks of it, they might not be up for duty much longer. When you get new ones, you might want to see if there is any type of coating (paint, powdercoat, non-corrosive metal, etc.) you can add to it to prevent any oxidisation from penetrating the steel itself.

Yeah, I might do that, it depends on how much GM wants to charge me for those damned things. Hopefully I can get the support separate from the Upper A- arm, because the A-arm is fine. Oh, well gotta wait til Tuesday to see anyway.

I know it might not be a place of consideration, but you might want to keep an eye out on e-bay.

Buy a cup type wire brush, clean it up, a coat of rustoleum and it should be good to go.

The ones I'm using on my CMC race car looked like that.

Actually if you can save it, then go for it. Mine looked like that, and when I tried to remove all of the rust, the thing fell apart, so I got new ones. When I did, I got them powder coated immediately.
