Springs. Hey y'all...
I am planning on installing an LQ4/9 block in an SS and realise that the engine weighs a great deal more than the stock block.
Given that:
1) Does the 99 SS come stock with the 1 LE suspension? I have heard conflicting reports on this.
2) Is ther another spring that will take that extra weight and keep me at nearly stock height in the front? I figure something with about a 10-15 percent stiffer rating would be good.
If not then going with the stock spring and a stiffer sway bars and less stiff springs or lowering springs in the rear might be a good fall back option.
What y'all think?
