Clunking Noise!!!??!!

Default Clunking Noise!!!??!!

I Have A 98 T/a M6 And Have A Clunking Noise Coming From The Driver's Side Front Tire/brake Area. The Only Time I Hear It Is When I Step On The Brakes And Am Close To Stopping!!! Any Ideas???

I have a smiliar problam and got a queston too, when im driving the front driver disc/pad assembly wobbles making a clanking sound only when its goin over ruffer area's, but stops when you press on teh brake pedal, i was wondering if anyone had this same problem, need help i already replaced the rotor and pad with new oem kind (to poor to afford the GOOD stuff)

may check out the wheel bearings, also thuroughly inspect the front suspension all ball joints and tie rods.

then i would check the brakes out.

what will i be looking for inspecting the ball bearings, will i be looking for like grinded metal?
