Default Need Help

So i painted my calipers, systems dry, trying to blee the lines to get new fluid in. Can't seem to get it, tried twice around and the pedal is still spongy/mooshy (sp?) but it does stop and uis much ebtter now than before. I did the standard to man bleeding system w/ my dad who's a former mechanic. We just cant get these things to bite any hard enough any higher than the FLOOR! Can somebody chime in?

hmmm.....
I've never experienced this before, but I have heard of people getting some air in their master cylinder.
Did you guys make sure that the master was full at all times when you bled them?
I had the wife sit in my car, told her to mash the brake pedal down and I bled the furthest from the master 1st, then before she would let go of the brake pedal I would tighten up bleeder screw to avoid air from seeping in.

Took my about 30 to 45 minutes, didn't have any problesm after that.

What about the ABS module? is that a possibility since the car sat without fluid for about half a week, or could that make it a Master Cyl. problem for sure? Where are the ABS modules?
