Default Good shocks/struts?????

I've been reading around and I need new front struts in a bad way. From what I've seen the number one choice is Koni's. But what are some other really good struts/shocks??

Your car has only shocks, not struts. If you don't want to put up the coin for Konis, Bilsteins are the next best.

Thanks Cal, I think I might just suck it up and spend the dough on the Koni's.

My car is making a clanking/banging noise like the shocks in the front are bottoming out. I have Advanced Auto Monore shocks in the front now, had to have something to put in there because I mutalated my stock ones.

Will putting Koni's on fix this problem?

Looks like you may have a lowered car. That's probably what mutalated your shocks. In this case, Konis will definitely last longer.

Konis are definitely the way to go being lowered...you could also do the revalved Bilsteins...or regular Bilstein HDs as a very last option.

Yes, that's the part for Koni single-adjustables. That's what you want.

Here they are on the Koni web site:

Just be sure to get the type for 1993 and newer Camaros.

Good work! Now when you get them, you might try about 50% full stiffness for the front and about 20% for the rear. That should give you a decent ride and awesome handling. Those are just starting settings though, you can still fine tune from there.
