Exhaust hitting TA, Need Help My exhaust is hitting the torque arm @ WOT from a stop and a roll under 20 MPH. There is no room to raise the pipe. Could I grind some material off the TA and what would be the effects of doing this?

I don't think I'd do that... there's a reason the torque arms break on these cars. They're subjected to pretty large loads on launches and grinding would compromise the structural integrity of that piece. I'll usually try to see why something won't quite fit right before I get down to something as severe as grinding. Now it may be your only option, but I'd say make it your last option.

I'm gonna take the system off tomorrow and try to reposition it to gain some clearence. It would prolly help if I would try to slightly flatten the top of the pipe, I know it will hurt flow but not that much. I just need to get it done before the car goes back to Ohio while I'm deployed. Does anyone know of a TA that is shorter in height than the stock one?
