I am posting this for a friend. And it may disappoint some of you because it did me when I heard this. My buddy bought some weld in sfc's and took them to a "midas" type place to have them welded in. I guess he was sitting in the lounge (if it was me I would've been standing beside my car the whole time) and he got up to check the progress on his car and they had just finished it up. Now the car was on an alignment rack, so the suspension was loaded, but when he went out there the front was lifted a little and he asked the guy about it and he said that he didn't weld with the front raised. So anyways, now to make a long story short the car does not feel right at all when you are cornering fast. If you drive down the road and turn real fast from side to side (kinda like nascar guys do) the car doesn't feel predictable at all and it almost feels like the body wants to roll a lot, and it's almost scary taking any type of corner at high speed- the car doesn't feel stable. I am positive this is from incorrect welding (with the front raised) but my real question is do you think it has bent anything? Because I guess it's been like this for a month or two and he hasn't said anything. I haven't been under it to check anything, but the doors still shut as true as a brand new car- if thats an indication of anything..... I know this problem should be corrected soon, but he works a lot and I just wanted to know yours guys' thoughts. Thanks a lot.
P.S.- they are UMI boxed subframed connectors
