Help Brake Problem.

I took my front calipers off to paint them. But when i put them back on one keeps leaking where the line connects to the caliper. I swear i did the same thing to both of them but fo some reason the drivers side will not stop leaking.I have the little copper washers that go on the bolt, one in front of the end of the line and one behind, but it just wont seal or something...HELP.

I'm guessing the copper seals have to be replaced.

Or maybe 1000 ft/lbs on the bolt will help.

i had to when i did my wifes suburban but those LOOKED bad to begin with...

in your case i would be willing to bet that the holes are not lined up...

take the bolt back off and look were it should line up... i found it best to mark a line on the side that the hole was on.... that way when you tighten it , you dont go too far
