Default Rear Spring Rate for Ground Control

I have ordered GC kit with 400 lb/in springs and 175 lb/in for the rear. The 175s are on back order but they have the 150 in stock. The shocks are Koni DA. The car is a sunny day drive to work and autox 3 or 4 times a year. I want good street maners. SO Should I get the 150s or wait for the 175. Stock WS6 bar in the back and will stay that way.

Go with the 150's - You would only need 175 for all out road racing.

You mentioned 'good street manners' - keep in mind that 150's are very stiff for the rear because there isn’t any real weight over them.

I have 500/150 GC’s with re-valved bilstein’s and I would say this is too harsh for most people. I love it though for the way I use the car (sunshine/weekends) because there is ZERO body roll and it carves corners and shreds tires on command.

Yeah, go with the 150's, especially with just 400's in the front. It will be more balanced. I'm going to be using 175's with 700's up front, but my car is basicaly just a race car that I can barely stand to drive a short distance to work each day.

since your only running 400's I kinda want to say that the 125's may be better suited.

My rear end still feels mushie with the konis on just the back. If the car is not balanced I will get higher rates in the front.

And where are the Koni's set? You don't want to use spring if shock damping is what you want, or shocks if you need more spring, which is rarely the case. 400/175 is insane. 400/150 is better, but I'd be running 125's with 400 fronts. Mind you I'd also not allow 400 front unless you were only going to lower the car minimally.
