I may get the 3 point system from them on my 1997 Formula. Would you guys recommend bolt in or weld in? Will it interfere with putting a torque arm or any other mods or dropping the tranny for a TC install? How much of a difference in my E/T would I see with these since they add on a good amount of weight?

I have the SLP Weld On connectors. They are great as a lift point.

There are, if you're talking about aftermarket. I'm not too sure how the SLP "convertible style" ones work (e.g. supplement the OEM subframe connector, or replace it altogethor).

I would love a chromoly weld-in diamond subframe connector set.

I would buy them right this second.

My SLP diamond connectors are HEAVY!!!!

Hell I wish they made 35mm chromoly sway bar and panhard bars as well... and them sell them through Summit since I have a credit card with them.

We attempted this but found that although the demand seemed high it wasn't when it actually came down to charging for it. Since Chrome Moly requires a different welding process (TIG) then mild steel it was very hard to come up with a 3-point that would work. We could do it but like I said I do not think the demand is big enough so we decided to only offer them in mild steel only.

Just how much would they cost?

Wouldn't it be possible to sell the arms with steel mounting plates with the chromoly connectors welded to it?

So that when you put them on it would be just like welding regular steel but with the bars being the nice stuff.

How much would they cost? Would they have been the same price as bolt-ons?

Wolfecraft sells chromoly subframe connectors for a reasonable price but I wanted diamonds because I am pretty much only going for looks...

cuz people always look under the car.

That and the stiffnesss will offset an airspring suspension's sloppy @ss handling.
