Spohn TA
As far as the clunking goes - RODRIGUEZ is correct - I called Spohn after my install about the clunking sound, thinking I installed something incorrectly - they ststed that is a 'normal' sound. The sound actually comes from the pivoting action of the front mount - your noise may be aggrevated by the fact that it is not pivoting as freely due to the tightness of the bolts.
Only way to get rid of the sound would be to go back to the sliding style front mount - now there are crossmembers available that do incorporate the stock style front sliding mount, but do not attach to the tranny tailshaft. When I bought my Spohn these were not available.
At any rate - I'm not at all unhappy with the Spohn unit
