Panhard Bar?
Well the weakness issue is important because of your 17x11's which don't leave a lot of room for deflection. And the bigger tires added grip which makes for more deflection of the bushings and the bar itself. You'll be more prone to rubbing the inside of the wheel wells with a stock PHB.
The lack of adjustment is problem #2. When you lower the car the body mount gets lowered by the amount the car is dropped. The other end (axle) doesn't move. So you effectively shorten the length of the PHB, and that pulls the axle relative to the body.
You really want an adjustable PHB when lowering a car so you can re-center your axle after lowering. And you get the handling benefit of a better located axle, and with a lot less rubbing too.
BTW, we carry 4 different types of adjustable PHB's, just ask.
