Default Rear brake problem

I replaced my rear calipers with new ones from GM. The instructions with the calipers said to torque the bleeder screws to 125 in-lbs, which I did. The problem is that the bleeder screws on both sides are leaking around the threads. Since both sides are leaking, I don't think I got a bad caliper or bleeder. I re-torqued them to 135 in-lbs and they seem better but I'm not sure its fixed.

Even 135 in-lbs didn't seem all that tight but since the calipers are aluminum, I'm wary about stripping the threads. I've got Valvoline synthetic fluid in it now, but I am going to put in ATE Super Blue that I got from Sam Strano. I want to make sure the leaks are fixed before I do.

How tight can I safely torque the friggin things?

Thanks for the help.

Everything I have about the torque value on standard bleeder screws, states torque to 32-40 in-lbs.

135 seems a little excessive. Maybe it is a posible type-o..... cuz I believe the 35 parts of that but not 135.
