Another question. Is the 2 point one sufficent or should I go for three point? Is there any real need to get three point.

I got the 3 point, but that's cause they were on a GP, dunno about a whole load of difference between the 2 or the 3 point.
I suppose if you were hardcore into autoX or racing, I could see the 3 point doing a better job of controlling the flex, bet for the average guy/gal, get whatever style you get a good price on, like the style of.
I got the UMI 3 point, had the SLP 3 point on my IROC, I took what was available at a good price

Try 2 point from BMR. I have 3 point SLP but I want welded in 2 point. Its lighter and I have time to think about it so I'm not sure weather to go tubular or square shaped. The square shaped hangs lower. Just research like you are doing now B4 you buy.

I've got the BRM 2 point weld-ins boxed. Pretty easy to install. The one thing I read frequently when searching before buying was basically any SFC is better then having none!

We offer a boxed version that hangs down about 1/2 inch from the pinch weld on the car here is a picture http://www.bmrfabrication.com/sfc/sfc-large.jpg it also fully reinforces the rear lower control arm mounting point with a one piece CNC broke box for max strength. We also offer a tubular version that has no ground clearance lose at all here is a picture http://www.bmrfabrication.com/sfc/tubular2.jpg

If you have any other questions regarding our products please feel free toemail me or just give me a call !!

As you saw in the top link there, I'm more than happy with my UMI Boxed SFCs (2 point). Money well spent, and excellent customer service from UMI, as well.
