what to doooo?

what to doooo? i need to get new front rotors, should i stick with stock ones or bump up to cross drilled and slotted?????? is it even worth it? i plan on doing alot more to the car. need help fast!!!!

I have heard the stock style yeilds the best performance due to increased surface area. Once you start slotting and cross drilling you lessen the pad contact with the rotor. I have also read that the Autozone Duralast rotors are pretty good especially that they are only $44.00 a piece. Those are the ones I am getting for mine, and I am going with the Hawk HPS pads. I am also planning on adding the steel braided brake lines and high temp. brake fluid. That will give a better pedal feel. That is probally the best combo for the $. Unless you are road racing i wouldn't waste the $ on slotted or cross drilled rotors. If you want to spend big $ go with like a Bear setup that includes new calipers rotors and pads.

You'll obviously get both sides to this topic, but for me switching to drilled and slotted rotors was the best thing I could have done. I had nothing but problem after problem with the factory rotors warping. Almost four years ago, I swapped all four rotors on my 'bird with Baer Eradispeed rotors. I also swapped the factory brake pads for Hawk HPS pads. Both are still working great to this day, and I've put 80,000+ miles on them with lots of drag strip use.
