broken bolt please help

Default broken bolt please help

ok well i dropped my k member for my engine swap and the most rearward bolt on the drivers side snapped off. i tryed drilling the center and using an extractor but its frozen in there good. i dont understand why htough because the other 5 broek loose and i could spin them out with my fingers. anywayz, do any of you have any ideas for me to get this bolt out? thansk a bunch

Maybe that one has rust or corrosion locking it up, or it could have been torqued too much from the factory. Grab a big nut and MIG weld it to the end of the bolt. Then soak the threads with a good penetrating oil and let it sit overnight. The next day you should be able to turn it out by putting a socket on the big nut.

If that method fails, drill it all the way out and re-tap the threads.

looks like im drilling unfortunately it broke off just inside the body of the car tanks for the help i'll try drilling it out
