Default somethings wrong

I just had my car lowered with Hotchkis springs and it now makes a loud noise from the front passengers side when I hit small bumps. Almost like a rattle. I took the car back to the shop that installed them and they claim there is nothing wrong. I really do not want to take my car back to them at this point as I do not want them to handle my car any longer. I would rather pay to have someone else correct the situation. In addition, my car seems to sit lower in the rear than the front. I have never seen this before with these springs. Is it possible that they installed the fronts on the rear? If so would this cause the sound I hear? Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

Coilovers do that but in the rear because they are just placed there. Not sure why the springs in the front would be making that loud noise. Dont know much about the Hotchkis setup.

The spring is probrably not in the rubber seat correctly or they just all togethor forgot to put it in.

Did you measure all four corners on a level surface? When these cars sit level they actually look lower in the back.

I just installed the Hotchkis spings and revalved Bilsteins and I'm getting no noise from the front end. Not sure how they installed them but the only bolts I undid was the four shock tower bolts and the sway bar end links. I would start off checking those bolts and make sure there tight. You should be able to see the lower spring seat rubber without taking them out, check to see that the springs are seated correctly. Did you have new shocks installed or are the old?

As far as ride height, mine sits about 1/8-1/4" lower in the rear with a full tank of gas, but evens out at about 3/4 of a tank.

I have the original shocks, but the car only has 3400 miles, so I did not change them yet. I have only driven the car about 20 miles with the new springs.

I tightened my 6 bolts a little more and went for a ride, it seemed to have solved most of the knocking...the remaining knocking might be normal, I really don't remember because I hardly drive without my radio on. Also I can probably tighten the bottom 2 bolts a little more, I need a deep socket 15mm to give me more torque instead of the wrench
