Lower with FLP LTs?
I have the BMR now, and they are just right. They give a better look and stance without the issues. I can go over speed breaks now, albeit slowly, without a scrape to the headers.
If you upgrade your springs, any of them have higher rates than the stock springs, and all of them are progressive (variable)-rate springs. This affects your damping (harder for the shock to damp the springs, due to the higher spring rate).
So, bottom line if you upgrade springs, you need to upgrade the shocks as well, or you will get a bouncy ride.
Get either re-valved Bilsteins from Sam Strano, or Koni adjustables (Koni SAor DA). Talk to Sam, he will set you up with a combo thats right for your needs.
My scraping was my Tunnle brace mounted torque arm, and the messed up v-band flange clamp on the passenger Y-pipe connection.
A ground control kit is the way to go, because I was scraping like crazy, and just pulled the tires, popped out the spanner wrench and raised the car up 1/4th inch so now I don't hang up on speed bumps if I go slow.
