Default no ASR button

My 01 SS does not have an ASR button, does that mean its just always on? I will never get to smoke the tires? now what am I going to do?

I'm pretty sure you dont have asr at all. I dont have the button and I burn out all the time.

You dont have ASR if thier is not a button and im sure the previous owner didnt just remove it. So there for you will spun the tires at will and the pedel wont puch back at ya

Sounds like you don't have it - ASR/TCS cars have RPO code NW9 on the drivers side door if you want to double check.

Not all cars came with traction control. I wish mine did not.

mine doesnt have it. its no big deal. it just means you dont have it.

I'm glad neither of mine have it. I had TCS on my '99 Trans Am, and I almost always turned it off.

535RWHP w/4.10 gears in the rain.... you get the point. I like that both of my cars have it, because I can turn it on when I want to.
