front subframe removal Does anybody know where I can find a write up on droping front subframe? I have to get my oil pan all the way off because I droped a 10mm wrench in the fu*king oil pan so, know I have to get it out. Any tip and tricks would be welcome, Thanks

Well I just replaced my kmember by myself. PITA BTW! To get "space" or clearance between the pan and the k-member you're going to need to probably disconnect your motor mounts. Two ways to do this. 1) Remove the long through-bolt. 2) Disconnect the motor mount pedestal from the k-member (4 bolts for each pedestal). Support the engine with a hoist since you can't support it from the pan, then back out the 6 main bolts that secure the k-member to the uni-body (3 on each side). Your sway bar and shock might not let everything drop down, so you may need to disconnect the bottom shock mount and the endlinks for the swaybar too. With all this done you should be able to back out the 6 main k-member bolts 1.5-2 inches without completely pulling out the bolts. The very back bolt on each side is shorter than the others though. Picking up the engine a little with the hoist too, should give you some room to work with on the pan. Hope it helps...
