Default braking question

When I apply the brakes from a higher speed around 80-90 coming to a stop I get a howling noise and the car kind of shakes. Does this mean my rotors are worped?

* The shakes are most-likely warped rotors.
-- How does it shake?, All over, or mostly in the steering wheel.
-- If the steering wheel shakes, then the front rotors are definately warped.
-- If the whole car shakes, then the rear rotors are probably warped as well.
* The howl could be worn pads (glazed material, or just worn down).

Either way, replace both.
