Default E-brake questions

On the backing plate there is a lever for the e-brake. It sticks though the backing plate and pushes againest a small pushrod. Could someone tell me what the actual size of that is. Somehow everytime I get rearend work done that pushrod comes up missing and then my e-brake doesn't work. I'm going to make some for my car so measurement's need to be exact. Thanks

Well since nobody seems to have a answer for me I had a friend come over and he let me take apart his e-brake system. The rods are 5/32 thick and 13/16 long and have rounded ends on them. Maybe this will help someone in the future.
