Default Rear Shocks

My right rear shock went out on my 99 Formula and needs to be replaced. I have searched this forum alot and just need clarification. I have a stock suspension set up and would like to leave it that way although a more smooth ride would be ideal. So, are the Bilstein HD's the best stock shock replacement with the stock springs? Most posts on this matter have diff springs etc..just wanted to "double check" Thanks...

HD's are a good stock replacement.

Koni's are the best, you won't get any argument against them on this board, other than price. Biltsein HD's are an excellent shock, especially for the rear.

Bilstein HD's will improve the ride and the handling with a stock set-up. And they're reasonably priced. I've had mine on for a month or so now and am quite pleased with them.

thanks for the input, will go with the hd's. Looks like a very easy install, if it would just stop raining.
