Default Spring rate ???

I have a 2000 Trans Am which I took the shocks and springs off of a couple years back in favor of a lowered completely adjustable suspension....The car had only about 12000 miles on it when I did the swap......Now my 1996 Camaro 6 cylinder needs the shocks replaced in the front.

I have already replaced the rear springs, shocks and swaybar on the Camaro with the T/A's parts and am now in the process of using the T/A's front shocks for the Camaro. I was wondering about using the T/A's springs as well but think the spring rate might be different since the T/A is an LS1 and the Camaro is a 6 cylinder.

Does anyone know the spring specs for a 2000 Trans Am?

Thanks in advance!

The rear spring rates are the same, about 114lb for both V6/8. The fronts are little higher (due to the extra weight of the V8) at 292lb, the V6 fronts are 257lb.

Oooops.... I just noticed your V6 is a 96..... In that case the V6 front's are 223lb and the rears are about 95lb. Your 00 T/A is still 292lb (front) and 114lb (rear).
