Default broken hal shocks

hey guys i noticed my car was kind of bouncy so i decided to stiffen the setting on my hal shocks. set the passenger front one to the setting #5. Went to do the driver front side and it would not click. when i moved the **** it felt weird and then it came off, ****. Oil leaked out. put the **** back on but it wont click just keeps turning. I dont even have 1 year with this shocks so hoping its just the **** that needs to be fixed because these puppies are expensive and dont want to buy new ones. has this happend to anyone and what could it be? maybe just a defected one?

I say, contact either the vendor, or contact QA1 directly @ www.qa1.net

Same thing happened to me on a brand new set. I ended up fixing it myself but it involved taking the shock out.. I wasn`t too happy with Hal.. to this day it doesn`t really adjust as well as the 'good shock'
