Default Do LCA relocation brackets work???

I have after market lca's, are the relocation brackets for the lower control arms beneficial to a stock ride height car? I'm boosted and traction is at a premium. Will these help put some torque to the ground. Thanks in advance!

For the stock ride height, it's rear wheel centre and the thrust angle mostly. If you have adj. LCA's and an adj. PHB, those adjustements will need to be made in order to correct most of the geometry, plus your tyre compound is needed to be considered as well.

What relocation brackets do is increase the angle of the lower control arms. The stock angle is about 180 degs. On a lowered car using the relocation brackets helps return the LCAs angle from a positive angle (which reduces anti-squat hence takes away traction) back to a flat or slightly negative position. On a stock ride height car you can set the LCA's angle to a very negative angle which increases your anti-squat and gives you much more traction on acceleration. You don't have to have them, but they are one of quickest ways you can increase your acceleration traction. Which if you’re making more then stock rwhp you well see some benefit from installing them. Of course adding an aftermarket torque arm will the just add to the amount of traction you have. Really the more power you are making the more necessary relocation brackets and other suspension mods are.

I got some weld in reloaction brackets. I got them to get better traction at the drag strip and to help reduce and ilimanate wheel hop. They worked good for that. Also i hear that lca relocation brackets is a good idea when lowerd.

Traction will be increased by adding them on. A good tq arm, and relocation brackets are some of the best things you can do for traction.

You'll find on a car at stock ride height that your handling around corners gets ugly. Take a quick corner and the rear end wants to slide around too easy.

Yep. The good news is that on the BMR brackets (that I know of) you have 2 choices of where to mount your LCA's with one of them being less drastic. This will help keep the car from getting too squirly in the corners at stock ride height.
