What is the shock life of the Bilstein Shocks that come from SLP with the Eibach kit?

I had a dealer tell me 40,000 miles. Is he trying to get another $400 from me or is this correct?

I thought they had a lifetime warranty against breakage etc.....stopping to work correctly is broken right?

So if I buy Bilsten HDs, who do I return them to to get them freshened up? How many miles or years do I have to put on them in order to do that? I don't want to drive on them till they are completely gone.

Another thing. Is revalving the same as freshening them up? Is I send them to Strano will his revalving basically make them new again?
