deadzone in my steering wheel, is this normal?
there's a deadzone of about an inch on my steering wheel. is this normal i bought the car used like this. 96 SS M6
what i mean by deadzone if you don't understand is lets say i turn the wheel all the way to the right, of course i go right. then at this position i turn the wheel slightly to the left, there is no give to the steering wheel. there is no friction, and the wheel doesn't slightly move to the left. i'd have to turn the wheel past an inch before it actually moves the wheels left.
