Brake Problem?

I just installed some new rotors and pads this past weekend and just started getting some weird responses. When I go to brake, I get a "thump" feel from the brake and my low traction light comes on...it doesnt happen all the time, I guess just when it feels like it! What could be my problem?

That means you are stopping faster. The low trac light comes on when your front wheels move slower than your rear wheels. Consider it good braking response. Be worried if it stays on or if you are unable to stop the car.
