Coilovers?
input????
and yes the mounting point is plenty strong enough. LG has never had anything break due to being the coilovers fault. and cosidering they and others race with tha setup, it's been plenty tested.
my coilover order keeps getting delayed with other expenses that keep moving themselves up the list
Coil-overs are not terrible, however can become money overspent. I don't blame anybody for not liking most replacement springs (somewhat costly, wierdo spring rates amounts and types, and many if not most lower too much which screws up the Cg and suspension geometry), however coil-overs themselves don't necessarily resolve this problem, and for street use are AN ABSOLUTE OVERKILL. Yes, I have had several of the configurations, but I use them for mostly AX and open-tracking since that's where they shine. I mention this since I have had several types and still use them, however the reason they're on my street vehicle is because I swap setups back and forth between my track f-body and my street car to gather data in order from me to determine what's best for either application, or even both at the same time. I am quite satisfied with the components listed below on my street car for the time being, however I will not say that they make the cheaper stuff look pale, because if anything, they haven't. They're quite streetable, but then again, why spend much more when only specific and certain factors need changing?
Once again, most of the valubility when it comes to modifying the suspension here is the shock valving, and less of the spring rate/height. Yes, spring rates and heights are important as well and could be improved, however for the 4th Gen F-body, the springs are pretty darn good with the exception of the ride height. With Koni SA's in the front, there is a lower perch that is well popularised here in a new sticky for obvious reasons. For the rear, the hose mod is a very workable option itself. A good working reference is in the recent new sticky, which was started by member lsx24, and in all honesty for a daily driver and even an AX car, it's very hard to beat.

I understand that I can be quite blunt with this stuff, but again I only share one of several expereinces when it comes to my wallet succumbing to fancy marketing with little performance return. When it comes down to the item used, I look more at how it's engineered, and if the engineering is useful rather than just throwing brand names and/or if it's OE vs. aftermarket.
Also, search is a great option for this as well. Here's a result of a small portion.

Once I attend the next open track event up here, I'll be able to dial them in even more, and really reap the benifits of the new setup. Time to start showing those local mustang guys that Camaros are more than up to the challenge of road racing
