HELP FAST leaks on line lock
I installed a line lock last night and bled the brakes this morning.
My line lock is leaking and i can't tell where. I think its between the thread from the master into the line lock and the adapter fitting below that.
Should of I used silicone tape????
Is the bottom portion of the line lock supposed to rotate with the large nut on the top of the line lock?
It looks like there's a double nut on the top of the line lock but the bottom nut on the selenoid looks like a stamped piece of sheet metal.

O.K. I couldn't wait so I used teflon tape on the two adapter fittings since they didn't have flarred ends. I didn't tape any of the flarred fittings. I was real careful not to get any tape inside the line lock.

You can use teflon tape, but make sure you dont get any in the line. It will clog the caliper. I normally use teflon paste. And only use it on the non-flare fittingings. Using it on the flared fittings is a waste, it wont help. If the flares are leaking, it may be that the you flared the lines crooked and damage the seat in the adapter fitting.
