Default Bob's Brackets?

Did I mess up? I bought these used for more $ than UMI

I then found these. Are they any better or worse?

I am not asking to be slammed. Just would like honest feedback differences between the two. I am not bashing a sponsor so don't go there.

You nickel and dimed me, proclaiming "Thanks, but I found the brackets 'cheaper' " ... sometimes, you get exactly what you ask for.

The Bob Bishop Brackets are the absolute best out there.. Steel or aluminum version.

I did not nickel and dime you mitchntx, already had most of what you are selling. I only needed the brackets (You are selling these same brackets in your kit?). I was simply asking opinions on these, what the differences were. Many say these are better but have yet to find why they are preferred in search.

Wow, here I am trying to sell mine for $200.00 and no takers...

Bob Bishop is an engineer of some type, I don't remember exactly what he used to do, but he spent a lot of time & effort to come up with these brackets, I spoke to him at length about the brackets before I bought them...GREAT guy!

Anyway, the tolerance levels that he designed for these aluminum brackets can handle the braking velocity/energy/whatever of either 6 or 7 f-bodies combined!!!

I bet you 10 to 1 odds that the other manufacturers did not spend the time/$$ to design their brackets eith the same strength...

My .02

Contact Bob Bishop, I recall his username @camaross.com is lateapex or something VERY close to that.

Bob retired and trackbird took over his operation

$200 is cheap. Not sure why you can't move them

Mitch is correct on both counts. I'm amazed that you still have them at that price. And, yes, I took over building them when Bob "retired".

Yes, Bob was concerned that I'd change the design to save money. I was concerned with keeping these available and agreed to make no changes. The same shop CNC's them and the same anodizer does the anodizing. They are still just as Bob designed and built to his specs.
