Default Is this normal for a chassis mounted TA?

I just installed the UMI Chassis mount torque arm last nite with my buddies and it vibrates to high heaven on first gear starts, but after that it is very smooth and easy. is this normal for these? the mechanic who installed it is very knowledgable and does good work and he said it was right so i feel it is as well. Is this just life with a chassis mount TA? thanks! o, i also had a polyuerathane tranny mount installed at the same time as well

I bet most of it is the poly trans mount. I took mine out the day i installed it. It was obscene.

It's not the torque arm.

its clutch chatter probably or loose tranny/bellhousing bolts. make sure your car is running smoothly at idle and a nice clutch. unless you have an adjustable TA and you have a rediculous angle.
