Default Suspension/Hal question

I`d like to lower the car.. mostly for looks.. but also get some good weight transfer at the track.
My two choices:

1. Lower the front with Hals and take out the spring isolator in the back (keep stock shock)to lower it using stock springs all around. This way I`d only need to buy Hals shocks and upgrade the rear shocks later.
My thinking: I`d get weight transfer at the track and I`m guessing I could adjust the Hals for some good cornering too.

2. Bilsteins all around and lowering springs.
Not sure about the weight transfer but I know handling would be great. No adjustment possible. 60` would suffer. More expensive too, that`s why choice #1 is looking better...

I go to the track maybe 4 times a year.

Oh choice #3... forget about lowering the car and spend the money on a converter....

Decisions...Decisions..

Default Re: Suspension/Hal question

Lowering the car is going to do nothing but hurt weight transfer. I have the Hal's and I don't think that I would buy anything else. The bigest improvement that you will see is with the converter. I took .70 off of my 1/4 times and cut 1.59 60' times consistantly. Do the Hal's later.
