Default Torque arm/DS loop question

On the Torque arm, there are bolt holes on the top and the bottom would it be possible (track legal) to use these with a C shaped piece of steel to make a DS loop? Just a thought..
Thanks in advance!

I know the holes you're talking about but "I think" they are too far back from the ujoint to be legal...somebody else can answer but the NHRA spec is xx inches from the joint.

Well, the NHRA rulebook says the loop must be within 6 inches of the front ujoint.....the bolts are there to hold a center support for the 2 piece driveshaft for the 6 cylinders.
