Default Panhard bar orientation

I was under my car the other day..looking for a rattle.. and noticed something....

My PHB is installed with the rod end attached to the body and the end with the "rubber" is attached to the Axel....

Seeming that when it was installed the guy had a 50/50 chance of doing it right...which is the right way...or does it matter

Only matter for noise.... and the rod-end on the axle side is the most silent way when dealing with a poly/rod PHB.
