Exclamation 1"-1 1/2" drop? help!

hey guys, I am gettin a set of 18's all around and want to close the wheel well gap up a little, I am also gettin the TSP catted Y with my headers so I won't have a whole lot of clearance but im looking to lower my car. Im thinkin 1" or 1 1/2" would be perfect. Any suggestions on who makes springs for that amound of a drop? I know advertised is that amount but people always say it ends up to be more

BMR also makes a 1" spring.

There is another post on here about Hotchkis vs. BMR. I posted pics of mine. I just installed 18x9 with 275/40/18 tires Hotchkis springs and Koni DA shocks. It dropped exactly 1.25". I also have TSP catted Y on Pacesetter LTs. Shop around before you buy the TSP setup. They ride very very low to the ground. I guarantee you will bottom out. I am going to redo my Y setup this winter. My 275/40/18 gave me an extra 1" in diameter in the tire which has helped. I handles great and looks great as well.

not to go off subject here or anything but why did you decide to go with the 40 series tires instead of the 35's?

I have the BMR 1" springs and 18x9.5 with 265/35/18's up front and 18x11 with 295/35/18's in the rear. I also have a TSP dual 3" X pipe and the car doesn't drag bottom too much. I think it looks alot better than the 4x4 cars also.

It was because of the TSP catted Y. The 40 gave me extra 1" inch in tire height 26.7" vs. 25.7"+- on 275/40/17 so I figured by lowering it 1" I was only giving up 1/2" in exhaust to ground clearance. They fit nicely. Also that is what I saw on another car. I researched and used tire guide comparisons before I made the decision. My tuner then adjusted my speedo when she put it on the dyno.
