Good combo IMO. They have been known to crack at the autoX course though for some guys here in the bay area. I've never heard of them giving problems to guys that 1/4 mile race them and no problems that I can think of or read with everyday street driving. Good choice

I've never had a problem with mine. I beat the hell out of them too.

Default rotors warped =(

I had to brake really hard today, and my rotors are now royally warped. My steering wheel shakes bad when I brake now. I ordered the LS1 brake kit from thunder racing. Which has the Powerslot rotors, hawk pads, steel brake lines, and fluid. Was wondering what are you guys opinions on the powerslot rotors? vs stock or vs any others...

Make sure you torque the lugs to 90-100 ftlbs. Mine warped right after my first tire change,I really didn't put the two together as I did some playing in the mountains at the same time and put it down as getting them too hot. Welp, bought some new HAWK pads so I got the rotors turned for that and when I mounted the wheels I torqued them to 90ftlbs. That was about 15k miles ago and they have held up pretty good, just a smidge of vibration. No R.Race nor open practice, but alot of play time in the mountains and a couple of AtoXs.

Powerslots are a good rotor. A cheaper alternative though is AutoZone rotors. I reoyally cracked a set of KVR blanks in 2 sessions on a road course, and my AZ rotors have 10 sessions and are still going strong.

This is a great setup but as with any brake rotor, proper torque is critical.
