Default Have Suspension Issues

Hello gang its not a billstein or koni debate lol

Lately ever since the header change (Mac Mids) it feels like my steering is binding or hitting tubes. I have takin to a shop and looked underneath and its close but nothing really to worry about I thought. So thats the first thing.

Secondly the steering wheel shutters or shimmy left to right a little, during normal crusing say 4th gear at 2000rpm. Its been doing this for a while i think it got worse when I added LCA's PHR and SFC's. Was I suppost to align the car after those mods.

And last the car keeps bottoming out and i put Struts in the car last year and did have it aligned after that. Slight drive way and scrap, slow too speed bumb and exhaust scaps on bump.

I have noticed the bushings and some mounts are getting mushy. Like the Driverside Engine mount which I believe is the torque side, the Torque arm mount looks shot, Trans mount maybe a little worn. Before I start replaceing stuff I would like to make sure the symtoms above dont come back

You need new motor mounts. I sell (and use on my own car) some Poly mounts from Energy Suspension. I had the same trouble with the header tubes hitting the steering shaft, and that's just because the engine wasn't sitting in the car properly.

I would change all of the mounts you listed above and bushings as well. Did you have to take the steering shaft apart to put the headers in?? If so make sure it is put back together properly and check the tightness of the bolts!! Allignment is always a good idea when messing with any suspension part...make sure it is a reliable shop. Good luck, I hope you find and correct your issues.
