Default Camaro SS Bilstein Spring?

I have the bilstein suspension on my 02 SS and I am not very happy with the way the car sits. It is down 1 inch in the back, but there is no drop at all in the front. Is it possible to trim some of the front spring off to lower the car a little in the front? if so, how much should you trim off? and should you trim the top or the bottom of the spring?

Default Re: Camaro SS Bilstein Spring?

I installed the SLP Eibach Springs and Bilsteins in my SS. I was well aware of the Sagging rear problem. So I cut of 1/2 a coil off of the bottom of the spring. dropped my SS an additional 1/2" and looks perfect!

Pics are in my Camaro Album

There is a before and after shot in the garage. I replaced the stock springs with the SLP Eibachs. The car looks AWESOME now! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
