Default Having problems need some input!!!

Ok heres my problem. I have a tubular P/A Kmember and prothane motor mounts. Every time we try to drop the motor in, we get one side in and the other side is off by 1/2". It doesnt matter which side we do first, the other side will always be off. It needs to go down and over to the left or right (depending on which side it is) to be able to slide the bolt in. at first i thought the Kmamber could be bent, but i measured it and it plum. I also compared it to my buddies P/A kmember and the stock one and the measurements are the same. The motor mounts are installed corectly with the tabs up. IM out of ideas and dont know what to do next. and input is apreciated, thanks guys and gals.

I had to use a pry bar and a hammer to get the motor mount bolts in using the stock K-Member.

I basically had to preload the motor mounts somewhat.
