Suspension troubles
Took out the spring locators in back got new rear shocks from NAPA (THEIR STIFFEST) and used the stock springs. Without the locators it lowered the rear just the right amount for me. Ride got better, handled great on turns where the road was smooth, but WATCH OUT if there were any inconsistencies or bumps, the car became hard to control. If I hit a large bump or pot hole in the road the impact was as if my wheels just cracked... seemed like dampning was nonexistant.
So I take off the Hypercoils all together and use the stock springs and use the Hal (Qa1) spring perch to lower the car, Now it`s bouncy again
All I wanted was to lower the car mostly for looks and maybe get a little more handling to boot while retaining a decent ride.
I~ve spent 4 days and a total of like 15 hours changing **** around and now I hate driving the car cause the ride sucks how can that be with stock springs? does moving the spring perch down alter the spring characteristics???? I~m tired and out of ideas, any help would be great.. I`m gonna go drive it again and try going past the 4 setting on the Hals i guess
