What size of slicks would it best to run on the rears to get all the traction possible on M6. car has been lowere 1" by hotchicks springs, LCA, phanrod, SFC, sphon torque arm at -2, with thier reclotaing brackets on 2nd slot which is right at 3". suspension tech. rear sway 1" or 26mm, with HD bilstin shocks. What tire would be the best for this set-up. I am putting about 450 on the wheels. my traction sucks cant hook. I was wonder what should i go with Hoosier or MT's. I had et streets 26x10.5x16 never hooked got rid of them. should i go to 15" wheel to get more side wall. but i was thinking maybe going up to 28". if i do go with 28" do i have to cut anything to fit those tires in their. would it clear the rear bumber and the fender wall? i would like to get full slicks. money is no object. and if i run on 28" my gear ratio would change to like 3.73 which will kill lot of low end.
thanks in advance

Definetily use a 15" rim. Use as tall a tire as you can get under there and as wide as well. Straight forward stuff. Goodyear makes the best tires. Go for a medium compound, for your heavy car weight. Soft compound will tear it up. Try about 10 psi and move it around. Check it in the staging lanes and keep direrct sun off of them.
You will have to change ratio's, but as you said, money no object.

Badls1,
I run 28x10x15 goodyears on my M6 Hot Rod.
I also run 4.56 gears. On the highway in 6th gear at 80 mph, I run at 2400 rpm's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
If you are going to race your Hot Rod alot then go with the 4.56 gears. If you are going to just drive it around town and race ever so often go with the 4.10's <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
Good luck and I hope this helps you out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
