If you are replacing the front shock/spring setup, you take out a couple of nuts and move the brake lines out of the way--base on my memory--in order the the bolts on the top of the fender well to take shock off. I believe this was only the tricky part. hopes this helps.

On the drivers to take the shock off, you take off two nuts which whole the master cylinder and slide out of the way with brake lines attached. It is not necessary to disconnet any brake lines but just moved out of the way attached to master cylinder. After this you can take the two nuts off of the fender well to take the shock system off. This is way I did it on my 99SS. I hope this helps. If you any more questions and I can help, I will be glad to. Kent.

By the way, there are only two nuts to take master cylinder to move out of the way. There are only two nuts to take off on the fender to remove shock. There are only four nuts to take off on the passengers side up under the hood to take the passenger side shock off.
